About DDTList
Hey there, brave soul.
Welcome to DDTList.com, where we don’t sugarcoat advice - we slap a big red NOPE on the dumb stuff so you can actually win at life.
This isn’t a place for perfect people.
It’s a haven for the beautifully flawed, the perpetually curious, and anyone who’s ever sent a risky text and immediately regretted it. (Yes, even you, 3 a.m. texters. We see you.)
What Even Is This?
It’s not self-help. It’s self-aware.
It’s not motivational. It’s mildly confrontational… but in a good way.
This is where you learn what NOT to do- so you can stop tripping over life’s avoidable banana peels.
From love to LinkedIn, breakups to brunch etiquette, the DDTList gives you:
Short, honest lists
Stuff you can actually remember
And just enough sarcasm to keep you smiling through the existential dread
Our Philosophy (Yes, We Have One)
We believe:
Life is already confusing enough. Let’s not add “Reply-All fails” to it.
Most wisdom comes from regret.
Growth doesn’t have to be boring.
And sometimes, the best advice is just: “Don’t DO That!”
But here’s the deeper truth:
We also care- deeply.
One “Don’t do that” can be the beginning of something extraordinary.
It can save a relationship.
It can stop someone from making a life-altering mistake.
It can prevent a war from erupting, protect our planet, inspire kindness, or simply remind someone that being human means being better - for ourselves and the generations to come.
Because at its core, DDTList isn’t just about avoiding bad moves.
It’s about making better ones. For all of us.
Meet the Chaos Coordinator
Hi, I’m Shamim, creator of the DDTList, chronic overthinker, life observer, and recovered mess-up artist.
I started this whole thing because I got tired of self-help advice that sounded like it was written by robots wearing yoga pants.
So, I flipped the script. Instead of pretending I know it all, I started writing down all the things that made me (and everyone I know) crash and burn - and suddenly, people started nodding. And laughing. And saying: “Yup. That’s me.”
So now it’s our thing. Your thing. A real thing.
Why You’ll Love It Here
Because you’ve made enough mistakes to recognize good advice when you see it (even in list form).
Because you’d rather laugh and learn than cry and Google.
And because, deep down, we all know the best kind of glow-up starts with knowing what to stop doing.
